The University of West Florida is seeking to fill a Graduate Assistant strength and conditioning position that will begin in the fall of 2017. Candidates must have a strong desire to be a full time Strength and Conditioning coach.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the design and implementation of sports performance programs for assigned sports, assisting with football, weight room supervision and upkeep, daily communication with sport coaches and athletic trainers, and other duties assigned by the head strength and conditioning coach.
Required: previous collegiate coaching experience (Internships included), CPR/AED certification, and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field. In order to be considered for the position, the candidate must be admitted into graduate school at UWF.
Compensation includes a tuition waiver and stipend. Consideration will be given to individuals who possess strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills with integrity.
