The University of New Hampshire's Department of Strength & Conditioning is now accepting applications for a part - time (non - benefitted), Strength & Conditioning Coach. The selected candidate will begin July 1 and will work a minimum of 20 hours per week. The financial compensation for the position is $15,000; in addition, the candidate will gain valuable coaching experience to help them obtain a full - time position in the field of Collegiate of Strength and Conditioning.
The primary responsibilities of the position will be to create, organize and implement strength and conditioning programs for M/W Track, Nordic Skiing and the Wildcat Workout Project (WWP). Secondary responsibilities will include assisting the full - time staff with the supervision and execution of the training program for various sports, attending to daily maintenance of the training facility and administrative tasks.
Bachelor's degree required in Exercise Science related field
Prior Internship in the collegiate setting
SCCC, USAW and CPR/AED/First Aid
Applicants should be an energetic, enthusiastic, self-starter who is highly motivated to push athletes to excel.
