Manhattan College Strength & Conditioning Department is actively seeking to fill 2 positions for our Summer 2017 Strength and Conditioning Internship program, responsible for assisting with implementation of multiple NCAA DI teams. He or she will be required to follow and respect all department Policies and Procedures, assist in supervision of all weight room operations, as well as participate in staff training and educational opportunities.
Bachelor's degree and/or current enrollment in a related field
Must have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning at the high school, collegiate, or professional team setting, possess an excellent work ethic, and have the ability to take initiative and be pro-active.
SCCC, CSCS and/or USAW certifications
Previous weight room or athletic coaching experience.
Compensation: Continual educational resources, access to networking opportunities, potential future recommendation for professional advancement, and continuing mentorship beyond completion of the internship. There will be no monetary compensation for this position. With no guarantee, there may be paid opportunities to work camps/clinics during the Summer Term.
