Appalachian State University is accepting applications for Summer 2017 Strength and Conditioning Internships working with specifically FOOTBALL. These are UNPAID internships. These positions will run from late-May through the end of July.
Interns will gain practical experience working in a Division 1 Sun Belt Conference S&C environment. There will be opportunities to work with Olympic Sports. Applicants must be highly self-motivated, able to follow directions, possess excellent communication skills, have a desire to learn, and have an extremely strong work ethic.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing bachelors/masters in exercise science or related field, certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, adapt to demanding schedule, and a strong desire to become a Strength and Conditioning Coach. At the end of the semester-long internship, volunteers will have a better understanding of program design, have the potential to earn recommendations for future opportunities, and if applicable receive college credit.
