The NJIT Strength and Conditioning Department is looking for a volunteer strength and conditioning coach for the Fall 2017 semester, starting September 11th. This is an unpaid position. However, the volunteer will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and hands-on experience at the Division 1 level.

Responsibilities: Assist in the monitoring and implementation of a strength and conditioning program. Assist in the administrative and maintenance duties involved in a strength and conditioning program including; session set up, facility maintenance, and weight room cleaning and organizing. Other assigned projects including; weekly staff meetings, weekly readings, and staff workouts.

Requirements: Working toward or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or another related field. First Aid/CPR/AED Certified, SCCC Certified,CSCS or working towards being certified. Good communication skills. Looking to move into a full-time position in collegiate strength and conditioning. Experience in a weight room, in collegiate athletics, and/or experience working with collegiate student-athletes.
