Position Announcement

Intern Sports Performance Coach

Stanford University is accepting applications for volunteer intern coaches
to contribute to the Sports Performance Program. Qualified candidates will
serve all 36 sports including Football, and will have the opportunity to
assist in all training sessions in compliance with NCAA rules. This is an unpaid
opportunity that provides experience assisting the staff to implement individualized,
comprehensive, sport-specific injury prevention and performance enhancement
programs.

Potential candidates must possess an enthusiastic spirit, strong character, and
demonstrate effective organization and communication skills. Required qualifications
include achievement or current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science
or related course of study and CSCS or SCCC certification. Applicants must also
have current CPR/AED certification. This internship is expected to begin no later
than Monday, September 4th 2017, and requires a 3-month time commitment with opportunities to continue pending positive evaluation. During
this evaluation, interns will have the opportunity to compete and earn a paid intern
position on the Sports Performance staff.
