The University of Nebraska Omaha Strength and Conditioning Department is currently seeking 1 qualified applicant for the SPRING 2018 semester. This is a PART-TIME PAID INTERNSHIP will expose participants to all facets of athletic performance. Practical experiences include: hands on experience in running a Division I strength and conditioning department, programming, coaching and implementing Olympic lifts and other strength training movements, daily maintenance of the facility, technology implementation, and management of the fueling station. Intern will receive experience working with various teams in a Division I training environment, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable. Intern qualifications include: enrollment in a bachelor's/master's program in exercise science or related field, working towards SCCC or CSCS certification, punctuality, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic.
