Morningside College Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting applicants for a PAID internship position working with all programs for the 2018 Winter/Spring semester. This position will start January 3rd and complete at the end of the school year May 11th 2018. Internship responsibilities will differ and include various duties with in the Morningside College Strength and Conditioning department. Hours vary during the semester and will include early mornings, late afternoons, and some weekend hours throughout. Interns will gain valuable, hands on experience in areas such as program design, speed and agility techniques, conditioning, facility and athlete supervision.

Requirements: Applicants must hold a BA/BS in Kinesiology or exercise science related field. Possess or be working toward SCCC through the CSCCa or the CSCS through the NSCA. CPR, First Aid and AED certification required. Applicants must possess strong communication skills and have the ability to effectively work with student athletes, coaches, and support staff.

Compensation: $2,500 stipend for the 2018 Winter/Spring Semester. Completion of this internship can fulfill potential credit hours toward a program degree and future recommendation in the field of strength and conditioning.
