Liberty University Department of Strength and Conditioning for Olympic Sports is seeking applicants who are highly motivated to fill a G.A. position beginning in July of 2018. This is a paid position where each fiscal year the G.A. will be given $10,000 for tuition as well as a stipend of $12,000 ($1,000/month).
The G.A. position is also Mentor Approved for those preparing to complete the required hours for the SCCC certification through the CSCCa organization. G.A.'s play a vital role on staff and will have department responsibilities as well as be included in any and all staff continuing education seminars, summits, clinics, and conferences.
While being challenged with the key qualities of success in the Strength and Conditioning field, this position offers the opportunity to gain practical coaching experience in accordance with the philosophy of the department and can begin to lay the groundwork for future opportunities with a consideration for a recommendation for future employment.
Team/athlete responsibilities will be negotiated upon hire.
