Method Sports & Fitness is searching for a Head Performance Coach. Method is a new sport performance facility located in North Ridgeville, Ohio providing professional caliber training for athletes at all levels and adult fitness clients. We are looking for experienced, high energy candidates for sport performance training, heart rate based group fitness classes and sports nutrition.

The Head Performance Coach will aide in the evolution and implementation of client evaluations, sport specific training programs and adult fitness programs. She/he will exemplify the culture of Method Sports & Fitness through the implementation of individualized sport specific training programs and adult fitness programs. She/he will also aide in building a client base that contributes to departmental revenues by maintaining an existing client base, marketing programs and services, and utilizing the highest quality of customer service.

This is a part-time, hourly paid position. Candidates must have availability for early morning adult fitness training and late afternoon athlete training. Interested candidates may submit resume and contact info to:


  • Maintain a personal commitment to meeting the needs of all clients.
  • Teach the proper technique of all exercises including; strength training, conditioning, explosive movements, mobility, and recovery.
  • Conduct client evaluations to determine programs recommendations based on needs and goals.
  • Assist in development and implementation of Method Sports and Fitness programs and events.
  • Participate in and/or develop staff related meetings, continuing education classes and other required activities.
  • Must be able to manage time effectively.
  • Behave as a role model by leading and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times when working with clients.
  • Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Dress professionally, according to the dress code standards.
  • Perform a customer service role by handling client concerns and complaints quickly and effectively.
  • Clean, disinfect and maintain all equipment daily.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Must have experience with heart rate based group fitness.
  • Must have experience with nutritional programing.
  • Must have experience with fitness software applications and technology.
  • Must have a minimum of four years of education in the field of exercise science or a related field and at least two years experience in a similar position; or a Bachelor's degree in exercise science or a combination of education and experience.
  • Nationally recognized coaching certification from NSCA, CSCCA or NASM preferred. Other certifying bodies will be considered.
  • Must have current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
