Details California State University, Fullerton, located in Southern California, is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2018. The position includes a 11 to 12month stipend; a waiver of tuition is not included. The position has the potential to be a 2-year position (if applicant is starting their first year as a graduate student) but we welcome and encourage second year graduate students to apply (position would be 1 year). Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for assigned sports, assisting with the program implementation of all sports (when needed), provide instruction for safe and effective lifting techniques and equipment use, supervise day-to-day activities, conduct periodic performance and strength testing, and communicate regularly with sport coaches and sports medicine personnel.
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or Related Field
Previous internship experience in the collegiate setting
Accepted in the CSUF Graduate Program (http://hhd.fullerton.edu/knes/Programs/MS_Knes/index.htm)
Certification by the CSCCa or the NSCA (CSCS). (Certification must be already obtained not in the process of getting one. Applications without obtained certification will be disregarded)
Ability to work early mornings and late evenings.
