Football Performance Strength and Conditioning Volunteer Interns

Colorado State University is now accepting applications (5) for Football Performance Strength and Conditioning Volunteer Interns for the Summer Semester 2018 (June 4, 2018-July 27, 2018). Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Daily weight room maintenance, assisting with supervision and execution of physical preparation specific to football. An education curriculum is provided with weekly discussions to help aid in the personal development required to obtain advancement in the field. Compensation: Division 1 experience with earned recommendation for future career opportunities. Contact information for former interns can be provided upon request for more information about the experience. CSCCa mentorship program will be available for candidates seeking to obtain the SCCC certification. Those candidates who are selected for SCCC certification must remain for the full nine month mentorship to complete the requirements set forth by the CSCCa. NO MONETARY COMPENSATION WILL BE PROVIDED. Qualifications: Certification from one or more of the following (CSCCa, SCCC; NSCA, CSCS; USAW) are preferred. Must be first aid/cpr certified. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or be in the last semester of coursework for undergraduate degree in exercise physiology or related field of study.
