The University of Texas Olympic Sports is now accepting applications for fall 2018 interns. This is a 16-week UNPAID/VOLUNTARY position working with Olympic sports (Excluding: Football, WBB, and MBB). Responsibilities include assisting full-time strength staff during team training, helping set up and break down equipment for athletic teams, assisting with daily operations of the facility, participating in our curriculum and professional development program, and completing assignments including a 16-wk long culminating project. Our internship program is a CSCCa-approved mentor program.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a strong work ethic and desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Candidates should be enrolled in or completing their degree in Exercise Science undergraduate/graduate program, should be certified in CPR/AED and First Aid, and working towards certifications from CSCCa, NSCA, or USAW.

COMPENSATION: unpaid/voluntary
