Temple University Strength & Conditioning (Olympic Sports) is accepting applications for (2) Strength & Conditioning Graduate Externs beginning appointment for Fall 2018. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, assisting the Director of Sports Performance in all aspects of developing and implementing strength & conditioning programs for 16 intercollegiate athletic teams. Candidate will design and implement annual periodization for the sports assigned by Director of Sports Performance. Assist with and conduct periodic performance and strength testing, and assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with preferred emphasis in the exercise sciences, and extensive knowledge of Olympic lifts. Must have great work ethic, and strong computer skills, especially in excel. Preferred experience (1-2 years) includes coaching strength and conditioning for intercollegiate athletes or playing intercollegiate athletics. SCCC or CSCS and USAW certification is also preferred. Must have CPR certification.
