Marshall University Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for the position of a PART-TIME Strength and Conditioning Coach. The position is non-benefited and will begin August 1st, 2018 and run through May, 2019.
Compensation: $10,000 for the entire academic year broken up into a monthly stipend. Free housing may be provided.
Responsibilities: Assisting with all aspects of the daily operation of Marshall University Strength and Conditioning Department. The candidate will be in charge of implementing and designing programs for 2-3 teams, as well as the opportunity to assist with all other sports when available.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or Master's Degree in a related field and one year of experience as an intern or graduate assistant in a collegiate environment. Must possess one of the following nationally accredited certifications from the CSCCa-SCCC or from the NSCA-CSCS. Updated CPR/AED/First Aid required.

Description: This position will assist the Head of Sports Performance and the strength and conditioning staff in developing, implementing, and conducting strength and conditioning programs for all varsity sports. Additional responsibilities will include weight room supervision, daily upkeep, and maintenance of equipment, and additional job duties assigned by the Head of Sports Performance.
