University of West Florida (D-II - FL): The University of West Florida Sports Performance Program is accepting internship applications for the Fall 2018 semester, with a starting date on or before August 3, 2018 and an end date of December 14, 2018. The internship hours may be countable toward the CSCCa's Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified practicum requirements, and/or for college credit if need be. The Volunteer internship will involve active experience in an NCAA Division II Sports Performance Program under the supervision of a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach and his staff. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to; assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for ALL sports, teaching student athletes proper technique and equipment use, attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities, and participation in weekly projects and professional development.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a strong work-ethic and have a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. With that being said, applicants should have a bachelor's degree or be in the last semester of undergraduate coursework in exercise physiology or related field of study. Applicants should also possess or be working towards a certification from one or more of the following (CSCCa, SCCC; NSCA, CSCS; USAW). Applications must be received by July 26th, 2018.
