We have an immediate opening for a Strength and Conditioning Specialist who will be responsible for assisting the intercollegiate sports teams with designing and implementing sport specific strength and conditioning programs. Responsibilities will also include assisting with the rehabilitation of injured athletes and for coverage of practices for all intercollegiate sports teams. The employee must understand and embrace the mission of Catholic higher education and must commit to the mission, goals and objectives of Holy Family University in word and deed.

Responsibilities (not all inclusive):

-Develop strength and conditioning programs.
-Assist in the area of athletic training.
-Provide game day evaluation, treatment and care of injuries.
-Accountable for the daily maintenance of the training room, fitness center and related equipment and supplies.
-Provide first aid care and make referrals to physicians and follow-up care.


Qualifications:


-Bachelor's degree required.
-Strength and Conditioning Coach/Specialist experience required, preferably collegiate.
-Certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED for the professional rescuer.
-National certification in Strength and Conditioning.
-Valid driver's license.
-Able to lift weights for demonstration and assistance.
-Extensive knowledge of strength and cardiovascular workout programs.
-Proper use of equipment in Fitness and Weight Rooms and Athletic Training Room.
-Valid PA licensure for Athletic Training preferred.
-Must be available for flexible hours; including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
