The University of South Alabama is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. This is a full time, twelve-month position that will assist the Director of General Athletics Strength & Conditioning in all facets of a NCAA FBS Division I program. This position's duties will include the development and implementation of a Sun Belt Conference Baseball Program, The position will oversee and coordinate the strength and conditioning program for other sports as assigned.

Responsibilities include program design, advanced training of student-athletes in sport specific performance enhancing workouts; educational resources on nutrition; and work with sports medicine staff regarding injuries and workout modifications for injured/rehab student-athletes; and other duties as assigned. This position will work directly with their assigned sports head coaches to communicate all aspects of the strength and conditioning program.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama.
-Minimum of two years' experience in strength and conditioning at the intercollegiate level or equivalent
-Certification by either of the two NCAA recognized strength and conditioning certification organizations: CSCCa-SCCC and/or NSCA-CSCS. (current & valid)
-CPR Certification
-Knowledge of NCAA/Sun Belt Conference rules and guidelines
-Experience with programming and developing annual training plans for men's and women's sport teams

Preferred Qualifications:
-Master's degree
-Experience in Strength and Conditioning for Baseball
-USAW Certification
-Intercollegiate baseball experience
-Proficient in Microsoft Office/Apple Computers
