The University of New Mexico Football Athletic Performance Department is currently accepting applications for a VOLUNTEER Intern Strength and Conditioning coach position for the Spring 2019 semester. This is an UNPAID volunteer position, but academic credits can be applied towards an Exercise Science or related degree program if applicable. We are seeking highly passionate individuals who want to excel in the field of strength and conditioning. You will be asked to wake up early, you will be asked to clean and set up equipment. You will also be given a chance to coach, and coach hard. It will be a true "hands-on" experience. We all must pay our dues to coach at the level we want to coach! If this position is not economically feasible, please do not apply.

Responsibilities: inclusion in Olympic sports training sessions, involvement in the supervision of football training sessions, assisting with daily administrative tasks, data collection, daily set-up and breakdown of equipment, and off-season operations for Football.

Qualifications: Highly motivated individuals seeking a college degree or completion of a Bachelor's Degree, and current CPR certification.

Preferred qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an exercise related field; pursuing the SCCC awarded by the CSCCa.
