Belmont University's Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant position in its Strength and Conditioning program for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years. Under the supervision of the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, the successful candidate will develop and implement general and sport-specific strength training sessions. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: weight room supervision; development and implementation of speed and/or conditioning training; facility and equipment maintenance; data collection and record keeping; and other duties as assigned.

Compensation: The Graduate Assistant position is a two-year commitment beginning with the 2019-20 academic year and includes a tuition waiver of 6 graduate credit hours plus student fees per term (summer terms excluded), up to 24 total credit hours. The position does not include a stipend. Graduate assistants must maintain at least 6 hours of graduate-level credit per semester to be eligible.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in exercise science or a related field and acceptance into Belmont University's Sport Administration graduate program. SCCC or CSCS certification. First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Internship experience with a collegiate or professional sports program. Applicants must submit to a criminal background check, subject to review and approval by Belmont University. Finalists will be required to participate in an in-person, on-campus interview at their own expense.
