Part-Time Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Morningside College Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting applicants for a PAID Assistant position working with all programs for the 2019 Winter/Spring semester. This position will start ASAP and complete at the end of May, 2019. Responsibilities will differ and include various duties with in the Morningside College Strength and Conditioning department. Hours vary during the semester and will include early mornings, late afternoons, and some weekend hours throughout. Appicants will gain valuable, hands on experience in areas such as program design, speed and agility techniques, conditioning, facility and athlete supervision.

Requirements: Must hold a BA/BS in Kinesiology or exercise science related field. Possess or be working toward SCCC through the CSCCa or the CSCS through the NSCA. CPR, First Aid and AED certification required. Also, must possess strong communication skills and have the ability to effectively work with student athletes, coaches, and support staff. Previous strength coaching experience and athletic experience preferred.

Compensation: $1,500 per month for the 2019 Winter/Spring Semester.
