The University of New Hampshire’s Strength & Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach, SCCC Candidate. The selected candidate will begin June 3, 2019 and conclude after Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) National Conference May 8, 2020. The position requires a minimum of 30 hours per week to obtain the practicum hourly requirements needed for the Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) from the CSCCa by approved mentors, Paul Chapman and John Ciani. Financial compensation for the position is $1000 per month, CSCCa membership and National CSCCa Conference fees, Travel and Hotel accommodations to National CSCCa conference and SCCC testing fees.
The primary responsibilities of the position will be to assist with Football, create, organize and implement strength and conditioning programs for M/W Throwers and the Wildcat Workout Project(WWP). Secondary responsibilities will include assisting the full-time staff with the supervision and execution of the training program for various sports, attending to daily maintenance of the training facility and administrative tasks.

-Bachelor's degree required in an Exercise Science related field
- Prior internship in the collegiate setting
-CSCS and CPR/AED/First Aid, with USAW preferred.
