Jacksonville State University's Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant position in its Strength and Conditioning program for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years. Under the supervision of the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, the successful candidate will develop and implement a strength program for one of the sports teams. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: weight room supervision; development and implementation of speed and/or conditioning training; facility and equipment maintenance; and other duties as assigned.
Compensation: The Graduate Assistant position is a two-year commitment beginning with the 2019-20 academic year (May 2019) and includes full tuition, books, plus student fees per term. The position does not include a stipend.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in exercise science or a related field and acceptance into Jacksonville State University's Sport Administration or Exercise Science graduate program. SCCC or CSCS certification preferred. First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
