The UNM Athletic Performance Department is currently seeking three (3) HIGHLY MOTIVATED individuals for the summer of 2019. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with the supervision and execution of all strength and conditioning programs, set up and break down for daily training, data collection, routine maintenance, and completion of the internship curriculum. This is a great opportunity to work with Division 1 student-athletes and phenomenal coaches. Hands on coaching experience is the number 1 priority for young strength coaches. Previous interns have continued working at UNM as graduate assistant due to their performance as interns. This is an UNPAID volunteer position. -High motor and work ethic
-Desire to become a graduate assistant and then full-time strength and conditioning coach
-Able to work 30 hours per week
-Pursuing or just earned a bachelor’s degree from a university with a degree in a related field
-Pursuing certification from a recognized governing body such as the CSCCa
-Current CPR, First Aid and AED certification
