Montana State University, is accepting applications for qualified, highly motivated UNPAID Interns in Strength and Conditioning.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting in implementation of strength & conditioning programs for assigned sports; provide proper instruction for safe and effective lifting/spotting techniques and equipment usage; supervise weight room day-to-day activities and conduct periodic performance & strength testing; as well as facility maintenance.
Qualifications: Must have strong desire to pursue a career in the strength and conditioning profession. Must be pro-active, have an excellent work ethic, and be disciplined. Previous strength coaching experience preferred. Previous athletic experience preferred. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel strongly recommended.
Compensation: NON-MONETARY/UNPAID. Continuing education resources, SCCC & CSCS certification prep, access to networking opportunities, potential future recommendation for professional advancement and continuing mentorship available beyond completion of the internship. The position will begin May 31st, 2019.
