The University of New Hampshire’s Strength & Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for a 10 month Part Time Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. The selected candidate will begin July 1, 2019 and conclude May 8, 2020. The position requires 30 hours per week with financial compensation for the position at $1000 per month plus opportunities for hourly work within athletic department outside required 30 hours.
The primary responsibilities of the position will be to assist with Football and implement strength and conditioning programs for the Wildcat Workout Project (WWP). Secondary responsibilities will include assisting the full time staff with the supervision and execution of the training program for various sports, attending to daily maintenance of the training facility and administrative tasks.
-Bachelor’s degree required in an Exercise Science related field
-Prior Internship in the collegiate setting
-SCCC and/or CSCS and CPR/AED/First Aid, with USAW preferred.
-Applicants with Football experience preferred
-Applicants must be an energetic, enthusiastic and a self-starter who is highly motivated to push athletes to excel.
