Valdosta State University is now accepting applications to fill the position of Graduate Assistant - Strength & Conditioning Coach for Fall 2019.
The Graduate Assistant will report directly to the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and will be responsible for up to three Olympic sports as their respective strength & conditioning coach.
Added responsibilities include: primarily assisting with the Football training program, coordinating and developing the Internship Education Program, as well as helping implement the overall training programs for all sports.
This position requires the Graduate Assistant to maintain a 3.0 GPA while pursuing a Master’s Degree. Compensation includes a monthly stipend and tuition waiver. The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science (or a related field) and must also be admitted into a graduate program at Valdosta State University through the Graduate School. Applicants are required to hold a certification from either the CSCCa (SCCC) or NSCA (CSCS). A CPR/AED certification is also required.
