Title: Part-Time Sports Performance Coach
Positions Available: 1 (Part-Time Employment — 10 month stipend position)
Department: Sports Performance Department within Santa Clara University Athletics
Part-Time Position Overview:
Santa Clara University offers a part-time, non-benefited position for a 10 month employment period. The position will work a maximum of 20 hours a week for their 10 month employment period. The position will not exceed 1,000 total hours of employment. The Sports Performance Coach will be paid a stipend of $1000.00 per month during the duration of their employment time.
The position will report directly to the Assistant Athletics Director of Sports Performance. The Sports Performance Coach will be directly responsible for both sport team oversight and assistance of appointed sports teams. Additional responsibilities may include: administration, supervision and development of team programs, additional coaching responsibilities allocated by full-time staff, and athlete/team monitoring and testing. These positions will comply with all NCAA, conference, and University policies and regulations.
-Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
-Prior Division I experience preferred
-SCCC or CSCS Certification required
-CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required prior to employment
-Successful completion of university background check
