LMU: Loyola Marymount University Strength & Conditioning Department is currently seeking 2 full-time and UNPAID Strength & Conditioning interns for the Fall 2019 semester. The internship will start on August 26, 2019 and conclude on December 13, 2019. Our internship program offers each individual the opportunity to gain experience, acquire knowledge and earn coaching opportunities with our student-athletes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Demonstrate professional etiquette at all times
-Assist Strength Coaches with set-up, and breakdown, for all sessions
-Assist in coaching, as directed by the strength coach, sessions including: Speed & Agility, Plyometrics, Weight Lifting, Energy System, Recovery, etc.
-Assist with maintenance of all weight room equipment on a daily basis
-Demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm to tackle all educational assignments from our S&C curriculum
-Demonstrate the willingness to perform any tasks as assigned by the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in, or have graduated from an Exercise Science or related undergraduate program. All interns must hold, or be working towards, a nationally accredited Strength and Conditioning Certification (CSCCa, CSCS). Applicants must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, be passionate for the field of strength and conditioning and be highly motivated.
