Lawrence Tech University is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 2019 Fall semester.
Job Requirements: The primary responsibilities of this position are to design and implement efficient training programs for assigned teams under the approval of the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the Strength and Conditioning Staff in all aspects of training for all sports, program administration, working directly with student athletes to teach proper lifting technique, and upkeep daily maintenance of the weight room. All applicants may be subject to a background check.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field, apply and be accepted into a Graduate Program at LTU, possess or be working towards a nationally accredited certification (SCCC or CSCS), and MUST be CPR/AED certified.
Preferred Qualifications: A nationally accredited certification (SCCC, CSCS, USAW), personal involvement in a collegiate competitive sport, and at least one (1) internship in the strength and conditioning field at the collegiate setting.
Compensation: Position includes a half tuition waiver, stipend, and housing.
