Saint Joseph's University is currently looking for 2-3 highly motivated interns to join the newly created High Performance Department for the 2019-2020 school year. Qualified interns will specifically work with the strength and conditioning team. This internship coincides with the guidelines of the CSCCa internship program and candidates will be able to work with an approved mentor. Additionally candidates will gain experience working with GPS monitoring, nutrition and AMS software. Candidates will also get to work within a fully collaborative High Performance Team. This internship is unpaid. The tentative start date will be after 8/19. Duties and responsibilities will include, assisting the strength staff with set up and supervision and break down of all training sessions. Nutrition distribution and facility upkeep. Candidates should have a degree in Exercise Science and CPR/AED certification. While there is no monetary compensation, qualified candidates will have the opportunity attend the CSCCa National Conference in May with the strength staff including all fees associated with the test and trip.
