Princeton University Department of Athletics is now accepting applications for FALL 2019 Interns. This is an UNPAID internship. Applicants must possess a strong desire to become a collegiate strength & conditioning coach. The intern will have the opportunity to learn in a practicum environment under the supervision of the Princeton University Strength and Conditioning staff.
Duties will include but are not limited to: Assisting with the supervision of training programs, completion of a comprehensive internship curriculum, and assisting with daily administrative duties and maintenance of the training facilities.
Expected start and end date for the fall is 9/2/2019 and will end on 12/13/2019 (minimum 300 total hours at 30 hours per week). There will be an opportunity to begin the internship sooner based on availability.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing Bachelors/Masters in Exercise Science or related field; a strong desire to be a Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach; pursuing CSCCa, USAW, or NSCA certification(s).
This internship will go towards CSCCa internship requirement for the SCCC certification exam.
