Fall and Spring 2019-2020 Volunteer Internship:

Indiana University Athletic Performance department is currently accepting applications for volunteer internship positions. We are seeking motivated individuals interested in changing the lives of young men and women. These positions are unpaid but does offer the opportunity for advancement in the field of strength and conditioning, as well as the fulfillment of internship credit hours towards a degree program.

Applicants will have the opportunity to work with over a dozen experienced Strength and Conditioning professionals, not to mention Master CSCCa mentors, and a team of sport scientists. There is also the potential to learn how to work with ALL 24 sports here at Indiana University and many more. Although unpaid, volunteers will be compensated with incalculable knowledge, transformative experiences, and a potential lifelong network. The position is responsible for becoming the best coach possible, impacting lives and assisting with the maintenance of a high-level training facility. Specific sport assignments can be determined based on schedule, trust, and level of experience.
The required qualifications are hard work, the eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and the desire to become a great Strength & Conditioning professional. First Aid, CPR & AED certifications are also a requirement

Expected outcomes after successful completion:
- Certification ready
- Strong Leadership Qualities
- Marketable in the physical preparation field

We are seeking candidates for the FALL, and/or SPRING of the 2019-2020 season. Start and end dates are flexible within reason.
