The University of Tulsa Athletic Performance Staff is currently accepting applications for TWO(2) paid OLYMPIC SPORT intern positions for the 2021 spring semester. Qualified candidates will work directly with the athletic performance staff beginning IMMEDIATELY and ending June 2021. We are looking for eager and enthusiastic individuals with a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning at the collegiate level.

Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to assisting the athletic performance staff with the set-up, breakdown, design, and implementation of all training sessions; daily upkeep and maintenance of weight room equipment; assist with daily administrative tasks and any other duties assigned by the intern coordinator.

Qualifications: Will have obtained or be working towards a degree in Exercise Science or a related field, as well as possess SCCC certification from the CSCCa and/or CSCS certification from the NSCA. CPR/AED certification is mandatory, and all qualified candidates must be able to pass a background check.

Qualified candidates will receive hands-on experience working in a Division 1 athletic performance program, participate in continuing education sessions to build their knowledge in performance and nutrition, and have the opportunity to build and establish professional relationships for future employment recommendations.
