Larry Jackson, Jr.

Head

Larry Jackson currently serves as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Cleveland Browns after spending a year serving as an assistant strength coach with the LA Chargers. Prior to that, he served as Director of Football Sports Performance at Texas A&M. Jackson returned to his alma mater in January 2012, after spending the previous six years as the University of Houston's Director of Sports Performance. In addition, he spent two years with the Oklahoma Sooners, where he served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Football. Prior to that, he worked six seasons at A&M in the same capacity.

As a linebacker and defensive end at A&M from 1991-94, Jackson played in three straight Cotton Bowls. He then spent four seasons playing with the Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, and the Barcelona Dragons of NFL Europe.

Jackson is privileged to have been influenced and guided by two legends in the industry: Mike Clark with the Chicago Bears and Jerry Schmidt with the Oklahoma Sooners. He has been fortunate to have coached countless outstanding collegiate and NFL football players during his career.

Jackson resides in College Station, TX with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters, Kate and Abby.
