MSCC Class of 2015

Nathan Baukol

Director of Strength and Conditioning

Nate received his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Minnesota State-Moorhead in 2000. In 2002, he began work as a graduate assistant in the North Dakota Strength & Conditioning Department under MSCC Jared Nessland.

After receiving his master's degree in Kinesiology from UND, the department hired him as a full-time strength and conditioning coach in 2003. Baukol served in that role for three seasons before moving onto the University of Wyoming in 2006, where he worked directly with the men's and women's basketball programs and assisted with football.

After a brief stint in Laramie, Baukol was chosen to lead the UND program and was named the Director of Strength and Conditioning that same year.
Currently in his ninth season at UND, he oversees a full-time staff of five assistants and the year-round training for UND's 18 sports. Baukol works directly with the football and women's basketball programs, both having transitioned from Division II to Division I during his tenure.

Throughout his career, Baukol has worked directly with numerous All-Americans in a variety of sports, as well as with a national champion diver at the Division II level. Several of Baukol's student-athletes have also gone on to enjoy successful professional careers in basketball and football.

Coach Baukol would like to thank all of the coaches that he has worked for, especially Jared Nessland, as well as his current and former assistants.

Most importantly, Coach Baukol would like to thank his family- especially his wife, Jennifer, and his three children: Emma, Gunnar, and Molly for all their support.
