Joshua Eidson

Associate Head S&C Coach - Football

Josh Eidson began his career as an intern for Penn State Football Strength and Conditioning and since then he has held positions at University of Illinois, University of Kansas, and Indiana University Strength and Conditioning programs.

Eidson began as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2003 at Indiana University and was promoted a year later to Head Olympic Strength and Conditioning Coach and in 2008 he was elevated to the Director of Strength and Conditioning. At both University of Kansas and University of Illinois Eidson held the position of Associate Strength and Conditioning Coach for Football.

Over the years Eidson has had the privilege of working with countless outstanding student athletes who have won National Championships, Conference Championships, and All-American Honors who have continued to compete at the Olympic or professional level.

A native of Oxford, PA, Eidson earned his Masters of Education in 2002 from Penn State University while working as a Strength and Conditioning Assistant and received his B.S. in Fitness Management from Lock Haven University in 1997.
