Thomas Morris

Tom Morris is in his 16th year at Indiana University and serves as the Senior Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Performance. He works with the Hoosiers' men's soccer team and previously served as strength and conditioning coach for the women's basketball, track and field and men's & women's swimming and diving teams.

During his tenure at IU, Morris has worked with 12 Olympians (3 Gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medalists), 2 Individual National Champions, and 6 Big Ten champions. He has also won 2 National Championships, 6 Big Ten Titles with Indiana Men's Soccer, and 4 Big Ten Titles with Indiana Swimming and Diving.

Prior to his arrival in Bloomington, Morris served as the Director of strength and conditioning at LaSalle University, where he developed and implemented year-round strength and conditioning programs for 12 varsity sports, including football, and men's and women's basketball.

Morris served as a graduate assistant at Penn State before his stint at LaSalle, studying for a health education degree. While at Penn State, Morris worked primarily with the football team but also spent time with men's and women's basketball.

Morris is one of the top handcyclists in the country with hopes of representing the USA in the 2020 Olympics in Japan.

Tom and his wife Christa, a Learning Specialist in the IU Athletics Academic Services department, reside in Bloomington, Indiana
