Principles Based Planning - Strengthening Your Financial Program

After 20 years in the weight room Dave Houser took coaching principles to living rooms to help people strengthen their financial futures. Starting out as an intern with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1998 for the season, Dave moved on to work with at the United States Military Academy (ARMY) in March of 1999 where he mainly worked with football, ice hockey and men’s basketball. As 2002 ended Dave accepted an assistant position at Marquette University where he helped out with all the teams and including the 2003 Men’s Basketball Championship and Final Four run. When given a chance to join Western Kentucky’s men’s basketball staff in May of 2003 he became the head strength and conditioning coach for the Hilltoppers. August of 2004 Coach Houser was given the chance to run all sports but football at the University of Toledo where he coached for the next 4 years until finally accepting the head position at the University of Hartford where he coached until the end of 2018. Coaching and helping people achieve their goals is what coaches do. Dave Houser now is an independent financial advisor helping people learn the basics of finances and providing a comprehensive plan the same way all great programs start out. As a young coach, Coach Houser, made critical mistakes that he helps people avoid, and ensures they understand all aspects of how hard their money can be put to work efficiently so that people are building their personal financial championships.
