The Robert Morris University Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for Volunteer Interns. This internship will begin January 8th, 2018 and will conclude May 1st, 2018. This is an unpaid position. Volunteer Interns will gain hands on coaching experience at the Division 1 level, education in program design and implementation, and recommendations for future career opportunities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with the supervision and execution of the strength and conditioning program for all Robert Morris University sports programs. This will also include set up and break down for daily training sessions, on floor coaching of student athletes, routine maintenance and cleaning of training facilities, and completion of the internship curriculum. Required qualifications include a strong work ethic, dependability, enthusiasm, effective communication skills, and a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional in the collegiate or professional setting. Other preferred qualifications include previous coaching experience. Applications will be taken until the positions are filled.
