The University of Georgia Olympic Strength and Conditioning department is currently accepting applications for 2018 Fall Interns. Internship Start Date: Monday, August 6th. This is a Volunteer, Unpaid position. CPR/AED Certification will be REQUIRED before the start date of the position. Applicants should have an educational background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field. Applicants should be certified or interested in obtaining one of the following certifications: SCCC, CSCS, USAW. Individuals who apply should have a strong work ethic and desire to become a strength and conditioning coach. Daily responsibilities will consist of aiding the strength and conditioning staff with the evaluation of student athletes, assisting in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs, performing proper lifting techniques, motivating athletes, and cleaning/maintaining the strength and conditioning facility.
