Texas Tech University's Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting volunteer (UNPAID) strength and conditioning coaches to work with Men's Basketball.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a strong desire to become a collegiate strength and conditioning coach; Must have completed or are working toward completing a bachelors degree at an accredited university; Must stay the entire basketball season (Nov-Apr) and volunteer a minimum of 25 hours per week; Knowledgeable in exercise physiology and biomechanics; Must have a current CPR/AED certification.

Preferred qualifications: Bachelors degree completed, previous collegiate athletic experience,SCCC or CSCS certified.

Rewards: Those seeking to become SCCC certified will receive mentoring from a certified Master Strength and Conditioning Coach. Candidates will learn the game of basketball, various training methodologies, in-depth Olympic lifting modalities, and programming. The knowledge and experience gained will prepare interns for potential graduate assistant-ships and future professional positions in the field of strength and conditioning.
