Northern Arizona University is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant position. The Graduate Assistantship is a two year position that will begin June 3rd.
Qualified candidates must possess a strong work ethic, display an eagerness to learn, and have experience in sports performance. This position provides a full tuition waiver and $1,000 monthly stipend. Certification through the CSCCa or NSCA is mandatory, as well as, current CPR/AED certification.
Accepted applicants will be required to work early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends. Graduate Assistant responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to the following: 1.) Program design and implementation for designated teams, 2.) Assisting with the supervision of daily training of other assigned sports, 3.) Setting up and breaking down equipment for training sessions, 4.) Assisting with routine maintenance of training facilities, 5.) Participation in weekly coaching education curriculum, 6.) Other duties assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning.
