Ottawa University (Kansas) Department of Athletics seeks highly motivated candidates for an UNPAID Intern position to assist with implementation and supervision of Athletic Performance programs for all varsity sports. Primary responsibility will be assisting staff in all aspects of the Braves Athletic Performance program.

Candidates must be working towards of have a bachelors in exercise science or related field. Experience with Olympic-style lifting, plyometric training and speed development is required. Successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills to teach/motivate a diverse population of student-athletes, interact with support staff and coaches. Master's degree in health/fitness, sport science or related field preferred. Candidate must be working toward certification from either the CSCCa - SCCC certification examination and/or NSCA - CSCS certification examination and have a current CPR and first aid certificate. This internship is for individuals who have the goal of being a collegiate strength & conditioning coach, others need not apply.
