About the Position: Saint Ignatius High School, a highly successful Jesuit college
preparatory school for boys in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Strength & Conditioning Assistant
Coach to support the S&C programming in the Athletic Department at Saint Ignatius High
School. The Assistant position is a full-time, 12-month position, including benefit offerings,
working through the calendar year and reports to the Director of Strength & Conditioning. The
idea candidate will have played and coached at the collegiate level and possesses a strong
work ethic, excellent communication and recordkeeping abilities, and the desire to work with
high school athletes.
As a Catholic School in the Jesuit tradition, Saint Ignatius has been educating “Men for Others”

educational excellence. At graduation, students will be open to growth, intellectually

Primary Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist in execution of strength training programs for various sports
  • Teaching student athletes proper technique and equipment use
  • Attending to daily maintenance of training facilities
  • Participation in weekly projects
  • Assists with professional development through the internship program


  • CSCS, USAW, SCCc Certifications
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Certified in First Aid and CPR
  • Collegiate playing and coaching experience, preferred
