Derek Woodske

Tactics for Linear Power Development

Sponsored by Sorinex Derek began his journey into the world of human performance through his own athletic success as an NCAA All-American and National Champion in the sport of track and field. Derek was able to transfer that success beyond college, where he represented his home country of Canada on two separate occasions as a member of the Canadian National Team. During his tenure as a member of Team Canada, he broke two Canadian National Records and won multiple National Championships. Derek retired from the sport of track and field to pursue his passion as a professional strength and conditioning coach and human performance consultant. Derek has coached in the NCAA, NFL, and Olympic while tackling the private sector as a professional speaker. During the last decade, Derek has traveled and spoken in more than a dozen countries worldwide while maintaining a hands-on approach to human performance education, with more than 1000 private and professional coaches having passed through his lectures. Derek has taken his experience as a professional coach and former athlete and blended the two into a holistic approach to help the next generation of athletes and coaches maximize their time in the gym and on the field.
