2010 CSCCa National Conference and 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

The 2010 CSCCa National Conference and 10-Year Anniversary Celebration was held May 5-7 in Orlando, Florida at the Marriott World Center. The conference included outstanding speakers and activities, including a site visit to the University of Central Florida's (UCF) strength and conditioning facilities. Joi Williams, head women's basketball coach at UCF, was the keynote speaker for the Female Strength and Conditioning Coaches Breakfast. The culmination of the 10-Year Anniversary Celebration was the Master Strength and Conditioning Coaches Dinner and Ceremony where a video of the organization's historical development was shown. The evening's keynote speaker was Chad Pennington, quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. His presentation was followed by the induction of 12 Master Strength and Conditioning Coaches. The evening concluded with a recognition of CSCCa Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Chuck Stiggins, by current CSCCa President, Jeff Madden, from the University of Texas, for his unceasing dedication and service to the CSCCa and its members.
