The University of California, Los Angeles is accepting applications for the position of Volunteer Men’s and Women’s Basketball Athletic Performance Intern. This hire will be specific to basketball only and will not be involved with Football and other Olympic sports. This internship will run from June 21, 2021 to September 11, 2021. Duties include assisting the full-time Men’s and Women’s Basketball Athletic Performance coaching staff in all aspects of the UCLA Basketball Athletic Performance program. This will include but will not be limited to warm ups, strength and speed training, conditioning, nutrition and athlete assessments. This position is for a Volunteer Athletic Performance Intern and no compensation will be provided including parking/transportation expenses.

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in an exercise science related field
- SCCC or CSCS Certified
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Strong desire to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning
- A minimum time commitment of 30 hours per week is required.
- This position is for a volunteer coach and no compensation will be provided.
