The University of Nebraska at Kearney is located in Central Nebraska and is a member of the MIAA Conference (DII). We are searching for a Part-Time Assistant Coach, with the anticipated start date of August 2, 2021. This is a 9 month paid position of approximately $2,600.00, with no benefits.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: design and implementation of Sport Performance Programing for Women’s Soccer, and Women’s Tennis. Provide instruction for a safe and effective environment with all lifts/exercises used. Conduct periodic performance testing and communicate effectively and regularly with sport coaches and sports medicine personnel.

Required Qualifications
- Must be CPR/AED certified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications
- Certification by the CSCCa, USAW, or the NSCA
- Master’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field
- Outstanding knowledge and experience in coaching the classical lifts
- Previous work experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Collegiate Level
