Grand Canyon University Sports Performance is seeking highly motivated candidates to fill Fall 2024 (August 26th - December 13th) internship positions. Individuals will gain knowledge and experience in a Division I Collegiate Strength and Conditioning setting, in addition to sports science principles and applications. Individuals will have the opportunity to work with all the Olympic sports that train out of the Lopes Performance Center.

Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for various sports, attending to daily maintenance of the training facilities, use of technology/data analysis, and professional development throughout internship curriculum.

Qualifications: Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field, certified in CPR/First Aid, a strong desire to become a Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach and pursuing CSCCa-SCCC and/or NSCA-CSCS certification(s).

Compensation: This is a non-paid volunteer position. You will gain experience as well as the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of Strength & Conditioning. Successfully completing our Sports Performance curriculum will prepare you for your next career steps as a graduate assistant coach. This can count for course credit if necessary for your schooling
